In the United States
Asset management is marketed in the U.S. through three groups:
- BNP Paribas Asset Management, Inc.,
- Its affiliate, Fischer Francis Trees & Watts
- CooperNeff Risk Managed Funds.
These firms service a large number and variety of North American-based institutional and high net-worth investors.
BNP Paribas Asset Management, Inc., established in the U.S. in 1984, offers the full range of equity, euro fixed income and Alternative Investment to a selection of Institutional Investors. Today, the firm has more than $3 billion in assets under management or advisory in European and U.S. equities for North American clients.
BNP Paribas Asset Management, in conjunction with BancWest, established a U.S. equity mutual fund on July 1, 2002. This fund is part of the Bishop Street Funds range that is managed by First Hawaiian Bank and sub-advised by the BNP Paribas Asset Management U.S. equity team.
Fischer Francis Trees & Watts (FFTW), a well-established fixed-income asset manager, was founded in the U.S. in 1972. The firm has a full range of fixed-income expertise, including Treasuries, Corporates, MBS, ABS, and short duration portfolio. With $39 billion in assets under management, FFTW is respected throughout the industry for its focused yet diverse fixed-income capabilities.
