04/09/09Pi5NY Math Tournament Sponsored by BNP Paribas
BNP Paribas USA is teaming up with the Department of Education, the Fund for Public Schools and The Urban Assembly School of Applied Math and Science to sponsor the Pi5NY Math Tournament: a city-wide, fun-spirited competition designed to excite and inspire NYC middle school students to excel at Math.
The event will be held on May, 9, 2009 in the Bronx.
BNP Paribas' employees already started to volunteer their time to coach students and help them get prepared for the competition.
Philanthropic initiatives such as this program are a crucial part of the global corporate responsibility policy developed by BNP Paribas to help the community over the years.
