The survey, conducted online by the Reputation Institute, involved 30 US banks. Each one was assessed according to 7 criteria: citizenship, financial performance, governance, innovation, leadership, products & services and workplace environment.
Bank of the West was ranked no 1 for the quality of its working environment, no 2 for products & services, no 2 for citizenship, and no 4 for its governance. Michael Shepherd, CEO of BOW said, “In the current environment, it is more important than ever to earn and maintain customers' trust.
